UB Greensfelder has an opening for a full-time Human Resources Assistant to join the Human Resources Department in the St. Louis office. This position will work closely with other members of the department across multiple HR functions and offices.

Position Responsibilities Include:
- Post and maintain job advertisements, import resumes into applicant tracking system, assist with sourcing active and passive candidates and coordinate interview schedules for all posted positions.
- Complete reference and background checks as well as degree verifications for candidates.
- Assist with preparation of materials and schedules for new hire orientation.
- Assist with open enrollment process and puling employee demographics as needed.
- Assist HR Analyst as backup for vendor invoicing and 401k funding.
- Assist with annual 401k plan audit as well as the filing of the Health & Wellness 5500s as directed.
- Create and run various reports as requested for HR operations as well as other departments.
- Facilitate HR projects as needed (such as digitizing the personnel files) as well as other routine administrative tasks.
- Assist with preparation of local office events (health screenings, flu shots, United Way Campaign, etc.)
- Maintain firm tax gift list for annual reporting purposes.
- Edit and maintain all HR materials including benefit summaries, brochures, and firm intranet pages, as directed.
- Assist with other Human Resources projects throughout the year as assigned.
Qualified Applicants Will Have:
- At least 3+ years administrative experience working in a professional services environment, required; law firm preferred.
- Successful applicant has prior experience working in a Human Resources Department and/or a payroll/benefits environment.
- High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality.
- Ability to balance multiple competing priorities in a sometimes fast paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Advanced computer skills; Microsoft office suite and PDF program (Adobe/Kofax) required. Basic knowledge of HRIS systems, preferred but not required.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and resourceful thinking.
